The defending Super Bowl champs are back, and they’re adding a new bar in the nation’s capital for 2023.
The Chiefs are bolstered by a great national fanbase that’s been especially supportive since Patrick Mahomes arrived. Five straight AFC Championship appearances will do that to a franchise.
Despite their home city being halfway across the country, the Chiefs have a strong DC-based fan contingent that is adding a brand new bar for 2023.
Here’s where Chiefs fans are congregating for the season as they go for their second consecutive Super Bowl victory and sixth AFC title game.
Blackfinn Ameripub
Blackfinn Ameripub is the top Chiefs bar in DC.
That’s where DC Chiefs Kingdom – the city’s resident Chiefs fan club – has hosted gameday watch parties, including for last year’s Super Bowl win.
Blackfinn has plenty of table seating, but also roomy enough for standing-room-only on a big game. Just make sure to go to the DC location and not the Virginia one.

Mission Navy Yard
Mission Navy Yard is a new Chiefs location for 2023. While it’s a bit unknown what the turnout early in the season will look like, the bar has a successful track record for hosting watch parties for other teams, including the Carolina Panthers at the pro level and Ole Miss and Clemson for college.
And don’t worry, the bar is huge so it should be big enough to keep Panthers fans and Chiefs fans separated.
Mission released its gameday menu on Instagram:
