The NFC Beast is back in its usual Sunday Night Football spot, and DC-based fans will have a handful options to watch among friends.
The Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants, who meet for a primetime spot in Week 1 of the 2023 NFL season, have strong fanbases all along the East Coast, and the nation’s capital is no exception.
Giants fans were revived by Brian Daboll’s arrival in New York, as he pushed a bottom-dwelling team to the second round of the playoffs last year. And while there are regression concerns about Daniel Jones and company, the fanbase could still show out well coming off the playoff appearance, particularly in the early stages of the season.
And it was another early playoff exit for the Cowboys, whose fans have surely become numb to them. Still, this is America’s Team, and a fanbase that routinely takes over FedEx Field will certainly show out for a divisional matchup on Week 1 Sunday Night Football.
Here’s where you can watch with fans of your team in Washington DC:
New York Giants Washington DC bars: Nanny O’Briens, Across The Pond, Ned Devine’s
Nanny O’Briens
This Cleveland Park dive is small but mighty, getting packed for big Giants games like last year’s postseason tilt against the Vikings. Fans who wore a Giants jersey got a free shot of “Big Blue Juice” (unclear what goes into that, but I’m intrigued) every time the Giants scored.

Across The Pond
This DuPont Circle spot is the home of NY Giants Fans in DC, a Meetup.com group consistent of fans around DC, Maryland and Virginia that convenes for every Giants game.
“Even if you are just a casual Giants fan, come out and meet new people,” states the bio of the 300-plus member group.
1732 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC 20009

Ned Devine’s
Ned Devine’s is home of a massive Giants following: Big Blue NoVa, a huge Facebook fan group of more than 7,000 followers. This is probably the liveliest location to watch Giants games in the greater DC area, though it’s a hike for city residents (40+ minute drive).
But for those in Northern Virginia and DCers who are willing to make the trek, it’ll likely be worth it.
Washington DC Dallas Cowboys bars: Parlay, Bungalow Lakehouse/Backyard Grill
Parlay DC Sports Bar & Rooftop
Parlay is the meeting place of the Washington DC Official Dallas Cowboys Fan Club, a Meetup.com fan group consisting of an impressive 1,500 members.
They’ll have the rooftop open for the SNF affair, but attendees are encouraged to email ParlayDC@Gmail.Com with all table requests.

Bungalow Lakehouse/Backyard Grill
The NoVa Cowboys fan group, which consists of more than 400 members, seems to alternate between Bungalow Lakehouse and Backyard Grill. You can check the fan group’s Meetup page for its full schedule.
