It’s time for the rematch of last year’s instant classic.
Two heavyweights are going at it in Tuscaloosa as the No. 11 Texas Longhorns meet the No. 3 Alabama Crimson Tide, and hundreds – maybe thousands – of fans will be packing New York City bars in time for the Saturday night kickoff at 7 p.m. ET.
Texas and ‘Bama are two of the strongest alumni bases nationwide and each have a presence in New York, so there will definitely be watch party options for fans, but they’ll likely be packed.
Longhorns faithful will have a few Texas bars to choose from if they want to see an upset with fellow fans donning the burnt orange, but the Alabama alumni chapter of NYC stays true to one bar.
Here’s what to know.
Texas bars in New York City: Stout, Hill Country BBQ, Horns Hook Tavern
Texas Exes NYC announced three watch party locations for the 2023 season and it encourages reservations.
